An explanation on why Big Walk isn't available on Xbox. bigwalk.game/xbox

Regarding Xbox

In June 2026 we announced that the release of Big Walk would be limited to computers, Switch 2 and PS5. Since then, we have received many messages and comments, asking about a future Xbox release. We would like to address those questions here:

We have made the decision not to release Big Walk on Xbox, in accordance with the Palestinian-led BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) movement’s call to boycott Microsoft, and their designation of Microsoft Games (and Xbox) as a priority boycott target. If you need help understanding our motives, we would recommend reading about why Microsoft is a BDS priority target, the successes this kind of pressure has already had on Microsoft, and especially, watching this great introductory piece by People Make Games.

It has always been our intention for Big Walk to be played by groups of friends, and we know that keeping the game off Xbox runs counter to those intentions. This decision means that some people will miss out on playing Big Walk with their friends, and we understand the disappointment we’re causing. We are disappointed too.

We would love for people to be able to play the game on Xbox, but not until Microsoft and/or Xbox have been removed as BDS boycott targets.

We’ve made this decision with the belief that meaningful change can be made in the world, that coordinated collective action can confront even the most powerful interests, and that one day, Palestine will be free.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,
House House

And the grind for my first relic weapon begins :D

FFXIV servers have only been down for maintenance for 9 hours but I already miss my WoL.

a screenshot from FFXIV of a fem lalafell with dark hair fading into light green tips. She's wearing a patterned cardigan with a gray skirt and a red flannel beret. Sitting behind her is a chonky gray cat.

I typically would say "it's bad but you should watch it to form your own opinion" but I would feel bad suggesting anyone watch it lmao

This is particularly hilarious when later they reveal it again just in case we didn't get it the first time around

I genuinely don't even know what kind of story they were trying to tell. It was horrendous.

so far all I can find posted about it is to make sure drivers are up to date for NVIDIA GPUs so we'll try that first and go from there I guess

I've tried adjusting settings but I genuinely don't know! The first crash happened during a cutscene, and the rest were just when I interacted with the CRTV or tried a locked door 🫠 it runs smooth but then just stops and dies

I have been so excited for townfall but my game has been crashing every 30 minutes. I barely made it out of the title card today 😭 going to try to fiddle around with it this week and give it another go on Thursday if I can get it to work!

usually in the evenings my time 😭 I had a bunch of people jump down my throat for a mess up in LotA after I apologized for said mess up. Otherwise there's just been a lot of snarky comments to other teammates in dungeons. It's been a mess.

There's gotta be something in the air right now 😭 it sucks because I usually don't have any issues. You get the occasional snark and it's whatever but whew
