my hot take is that i think scott snyder is a real 6-7/10 writer. he has a couple really good books and the rest is just fine. his batman really isn’t all that!

after reading some more mj comics, i have to say that people who say mcu mj is too different are stupid. mj is not actually a party girl; it’s a mask to hide her trauma. mcuj is just mj without that mask, instead going a different direction to hide it. that’s… pretty cool, actually

in a weird way, hundred line is kinda about… last thursdayism? like obviously the twist is not “everything actually started last thursday!” or anything even close to that, but there’s a route that explores how much your past influences who you are, and so it made me think of last thursdayism. neat

it’s kind of impressive how many routes have made me say, “wow, this is super important. surely this is box of calamity route!” before learning that it’s just not

hot (?) take: you’re still playing visual novels, even if the entire gameplay is clicking. inherently more interactive in a different way than just a book, similar to how you haven’t played or read a game on youtube, but watched it

i’m so shit abt remakes bc i’m always like i should play the original version instead of the remake first! and then the remake like ttyd remake
