Something I have been working on in my spare time. I haven’t done a full hand drawn animation since flipnote over a decade ago, and it’s the most frames I’ve ever drawn, so it’s a bit janky in places.. I want to try some actual animating software, but this was just done on regular procreate. #wip

Miocene Gryphon

A digital illustration of a fantasy gryphon, half bird half feline, in a jumping run of a sandy mound in Miocene-era savanna grasslands. The Gryphon has a large bird head similar to a prehistoric terror bird with a grey beak, with a sabertooth fang protruding from the upper lip. The white fades into a tan color, and the animal has dark brown spots and stripes all along its body. Its front paws are bird-like fingers with clawed talons, and its back feet are cat paws. It has a short tail, and looks like a fusion between a sabertooth cat which is large and muscular, with a prehistoric predatory bird.
