Hey, @worldofdarkness.bsky.social! You know what you could do to celebrate the release of the playtest of new edition?! Re-released Music from the Succubus Club! The "official" soundtrack for Vampire: the Masquerade, released in 2000! On vinyl! (I won't stop 'til I get it.)

So, I haven't been able to sit down and actually *play* it yet and won't for a while. But I have some thoughts based on what I read. 1.) First and foremost, I'm genuinely shocked how OSR-inspired it is. Like, with @diogooldskull.bsky.social working on it, I expected to see a bit of influence..1/7

@worldofdarkness.bsky.social Hey, guys. Could you please re-release the Music from the Succubus Club compilation from 2000? Newcomers could hear all the music that inspired the game and I wouldn't have to pay someone on ebay a hundred bucks for a CD.

On one hand, I absolutely despise the whole "take Thing X and convert it to 5e D&D". On the other, there is nothing new under the sun and in the 3.X era we had Monte Cook's World of Darkness. I won't buy it since I hate 5e D&D but I hope it does draw some people to Vampire.

Five months late to this, only finding out about it because of the recent White Wolf post, but... Holy shit. One of the best names in the OSR moving to one of my favorite brands? Hell yes. I'm a happy person.

While I absolutely get the idea of boycotting Harry Potter shit because of Rowling (which is not hard for me as I never liked it), sometimes I feel people forget that she's a *billionaire*, she could never earn a time as still promote her bigotry. Even if she faded from the public, that... (1/2)

Asha's fighting style blends Ishgardian swordsmanship, ballet, the fighting style of the Bozjan Gunbreakers with the dirty fighting of a street rat.

I'm doing #MonthOfDarkness this year, writing prose for my latest vampire that I'm going to play in an upcoming campaign, to get into his head. I think I really like this Tremere inquisitor, who hunts Infernalists within his sect, and for a period of time, Nazis in Poland.

Yoshi-P: "For fuck's sake, you can use mods, just treat them like Fight Club and don't post NSFW shit with our logo, when there's people actively urging payment processors to ban this shit." The FFXIV Community: "Here's a nude of my character with the text as a censor bar."

Asha, and her companion node, "Noah" (Serial No. N-0411), taking out the trash in the Brume. The Allagan node is a near constant companion to Asha, distracting her foes and recording her thoughts. It might becoming sapient.

I bet crows aren't expect to show their work and are trusted to be able to actually figure out equations in their head, without being called cheaters. No, I will not get over failing geometry because I transpose numbers when I see them on paper.

The first of a few new pics I'm taking for my revised carrd. Asha, and her companion Unit N-0411. Or "Noah" as she calls him. A sapient "interrogation" node.

Healing: Sage, because because I forget to heal but remember barriers and DPS. Fending: Gunbreaker. Melee DPS: Ninja, even if I'm not great at it. Physical Ranged DPS: Mechanist. Forever. I don't care if it supposedly sucks, it's fun. Magical DPS: Red Mage.

OOC: One of my alts. An old mercenary, still fighting past his prime, looking for a good death, or maybe a reason to live.

Real life made me take a long break for Final Fantasy XIV. Hopefully, I can do things now. Screenshots? IC posts? I don't know.

I took this sometime last year, after spending six hours trying to get his damn card.

I'm excited. Finally going to get a V5 game going. I might be posting session overviews.

If you see this, post a mooncat. Or someone doing the Akira slide on a motorcycle. That's cool, too. (Sorry, not sorry for messing with the prompt, but I want to see Akria slides.)

With just some shaders... I still love Asha. I might need to start doing some vanilla screenshots.

She's a Keeper, and like many, her father wasn't around. Her relationship with her mother was also bad, on account of her being an absolutely awful person. She is, however, very close with her grandmother who raised her.

95% of the time, I lean towards vanilla mash-ups. But this? I can't help myself. I'm a simple person; I love pirate clothes. Thanks @solona.bsky.social for such a beautiful outfit. #gposer | #reshade | #miqote | #ffxivscreenshot

It's Halloween time. Time for costumes! And alias' count as a type of costume, don't they? Meet "Kotah Vihl", one of Asha's aliases and her personal favorite to play as. A dangerous woman of high society, with a history of her own. She may or may not be wanted. #gposer | #miqote | #gpose

So, since this place seems a lot better for connecting with fellow FFXIV players and gposers... Well, might as well do an introduction. Uh, hi? I like taking screenshots and role-playing in this silly game. It's fun. Looking to meet more contacts, hopefully in the community.
