This is one of the best talks I've seen recently! It highlights how skill sets translate across disciplines and how attacking a problem as an outsider may yield unexpected results. If you are excited about a new area, you should get outside your comfort zone and contribute in your own unique way

Either one works! Given my current profile, it probably makes sense to be in the responsible AI starter pack. (I'm working with security folks right now so I guess that's just been more at the forefront of my thoughts.)

thru the framework of Topic Modeling w/ and w/out LLM assistance. Our findings indicate positive efficiency gains but also a worrisome anchoring bias that colors the final analysis. We hope that our study can add meaningful evidence to this ongoing global dialogue. Read the paper for details! 3/3

🚨🚨The LLM Effect: Are Humans Truly Using LLMs, or Are They Being Influenced By Them Instead?🧑🤖 This is a massive question that is both important and timely. 📜https://aclanthology.org/2024.emnlp-main.1230/ w/ Sabrina Akter, JP Singh, and @antonisa.bsky.social Accepted to #EMNLP2024 Main, 1/3
