I think I went for the doujin making despite LXH being soooo niche is because Chi Nian really is like a combination of everything I've liked in a character from early of my fandom career (stern hot-blooded type) to what it evolved the past couple years (older/mentor bottom, mother hen, booba lol).

Oops...it's been 2 weeks, and I forgot to do the report...keeping it pretty straightforward! I got to experience the following for Super Comic City: - finishing my first doujinshi ever - work with a Japanese printing service and the books were shipped directly to my table 🥺 Photo on that day:

Omg so surreal seeing my book on Toranoana 🥹✨✨✨ (for those who didn't know, they offer overseas consignment, so that's what I did!) ecs.toranoana.jp/joshi/ec/ite...

going to write a report on my first doujin circle experience at Supacomi soon! ahhhhh still so surreal 😭 I don't think doujin-making culture will truly make its way to the cons here, genres too spread out, the vibe is too 'for profit' at this point, not enough affordable on-demand book printing

Me from 10yrs ago would've been blown out of the water being able to get an artist alley table. Too bad these days I only draw super niche things that 1) no1curr in the west or 2) CN IPs with explicit merch rules lmao

After my Northeastern China (东北) trip, I've come to the conclusion that "Asians are short" really just apply to SEA descendants. 东北 women are TALL like 160-170cm is average, many taller too. I'M SO JEALOUS 😭😭

I printed some old Nezha and IDV artworks on shikishi for funzies to try out this cool CN service... That acrylic glitter backing option is pretty cool 😍 I was able to print single pieces AND customize for each👏 Why couldn't we get cool affordable, good-quality print services like this here? 🙃

what the heck-- there's actually Ao Guang simping here on bsky 😳 people calling him 男妈妈 and knowing about the cp 地笼, whereas on X it's been so quiet and mostly just reposts from wb / lof.... (btw there's SO much food on lofter I'm feasting) no one can convince me that Ao Guang isn't bbgirl material
