I chose to name him Joules because of my pre-existing familiarity with "Jules" as a name, and for representing a unit of energy or heat. This ties in with plans for the character to have intrinsic fire abilities, which is something I want to represent more in art and on the avatar itself

Geno started as a silly thought for a D&D character concept combining a few different features to be a living long-range spy radio, but the character has evolved in various ways over time, and from a very early version he's always remained as a dual-wielding kenku barbarian

A common trend from me with my characters is that they tend to have very limited character details until I've had them for a while. I don't have really any lore for Chester, but I do broadly imagine a personality that's equally able to be silly, seductive, and perhaps even a wise and knowing type
