So I am trying to complete a Krana/Krana Va collection. On the left are the ones I have, on the right are my dupes. I am looking to buy or trade for any of the missing slots. I am also looking to buy Bohrok and Bohrok Va, with or without Krana (so long as they are otherwise complete) #Bionicle

An incomplete arrangement of Bohrok and Bohrok Va Krana

There's something about the pumpkin flower that resonates with me Watching the buds grow over time, slowly changing from green to faintly orange, and then for only a few brief hours in the morning they blossom before quickly withering away A vivid, yet oh so temporary beauty. Just like life itself

Several blooming pumpkin flowers, yellow-orange petals in a five pointed star shape. Amongst leaves and withered/withering flowers.

Well, we started the stream with just one Slifer. Built a second, and pulled TWO more during the first half of the stream!!! Altogether, a very successful first go at a handcam stream, and I've learned a few lessons to apply to the next ones~

It is done. Rebuilt better than ever. My cornfield has gone from 10 ears along the path to my door, to a field of 40 new plots in a part of my yard that gets absurd levels of sun every day. All encased in 4 feet of chicken wire. I DARE a motherfucker to try me now.

Six stakes encased by chicken wire, surrounding 40 dirt plots in my yard by the road. The plots are arranged 5 by 8.

Someone came through this afternoon and wrecked all the corn I'd been growing. In broad fucking daylight. Just ripped the leaves off the stems, it wasn't an animal cause there's zero signs of predation. Just pure human evil. If I ever find the person who did this, their life is over.

The Rebuild Arugi's Childhood Bionicles project has gotten off to a nice start. I still have lots more parts to recover though, that garage is utterly packed... and I'm still missing some critical, unique pieces...

Screenshot that reads:

I have full reassembled: two bohrok, one mctoran, two Toa Metru, three Vahki, and four Metru Matoran (and literally just missing a disk launcher for two, and a mask for one)
I have 4 more bohrok in various repair states, the remaining toa metru nearly built, enough rahkshi parts to build all six plus their kaitas, and several more mctoran nearly fixed
And that's just from what I've pulled from the massive bag so far. Once I get to work on the titans, things are gonna get REALLY good
I really wanna rebuild Brutaka first if l can.

I wouldn't ever want to deal with this again, having to deal with fishing my bionicle parts out of a bin of ick water... But at least the remaining residue after a night in soapy water resulted in some really cool weathering effects... Silver linings, folks... 🥲

By the way, the maiden name of Rei's wife, Hitomi Nakadai, is a double mecha reference. Her first name, Hitomi, comes from a character of the same name in Lego Exo-Force! Her last name, Nakadai, is a reference to Miko Nakadai from Transformers Prime!

Hitomi is a tan-skinned purple haired gyaru with green eyes and heavy mascara/eyeshadow

So I got these #StarWars tongs art a garage sale a few years ago, finally got a chance to bust them out since I'm grilling tomorrow. Who wrote this product description, I'm about to McFuckin lose it over here

Text on the box reads as follows:

"As someone with first hand experience of sizzling heat and char-grilling, Darth Vader knows the value of a good set of barbeque tongs. They're shaped just like his famous Lightsaber™ weapon and feature a heatproof plastic handle, metal tongs, a red storage case and authentic Star Wars sound effects. Rule the grill and the galaxy with the power of the dark side at your command."
