For anyone who had me added on insta - I had to delete it after some issues with security on it :C I probably won't use it anymore as a result

I’ve been taking a huge break from online, and have been streaming a lot less, and I feel so much healthier. I think I’m going to continue this for another month or few months! Here’s a pic from a walk I did :D

My first FFXIV patch after meeting a few of the scions in real life not too long ago, massively excited! Really has brought me that much closer to the game I love so much.

Shoutout to @seldszar.fr for making Gumbo which is an amazing extension I use all the time, and for swifly fixing the slight hiccup added on it today, really appreciate what you do for us. <3

Apologies for not popping into streams for viewing as much, I'm in full panic mode for Kupocon, and timezones are often difficult for me as I'm trying to get my sleep schedule sorted for it, actually sleeping at reasonable times atm xD

What an insane year. I've been stuck inside with social anxiety since I was in my teens, but this year I've started to manage to go out, and in 3 months I'm going to a full con and will hopefully meet some Final Fantasy voice actors! Dream come true.

I'm pretty happy with this, my streams are all about keeping people company, not growth/career. I do it just because.. it's fun, hope next year is similar!

I am like the only Twitch viewer that WILL tell you if your game audio is too loud, etc. I think most people feel bad bringing up stuff to streamers, but I've always mentioned it if I'm having a hard time hearing and such, most people seem to appreciate this x]

To anyone that uses a 2D VTuber; do you use a webcam for tracking? or iphone? basically being 3D and using ifacialmocap is killing my phone life, and I'm wondering if I did step into 2D, do most people still use webcam?

Quick about me: My name is Aru! I am a pure hobby streamer on Twitch; this means that growth is not my goal, but meeting new people is. I am disabled, and Twitch helps me combat the loneliness of being stuck indoors most of my life. I can go outside, but it's like, a few days a year.

It's my nephew's big 16 today, so I might be late to stream if I do one, as going out for a quick drink for once later :D

Aru Comfy 🔎 @arucomfy.bsky.social · 22/11/2024

I've had a few compliments over my voice on stream, but it's totally not because I have a £600 audio setup.. (This is completely unnecessary for streaming, but I'm audio obsessed)

Was looking forward to streaming but I have a horrible headache, will try tomorrow! going to catch up on anime today.

To anyone getting 'Invalid Handle' go to settings>change username> and just write your current one in again, and save. More info here: bsky.app/profile/bsky...

000

Aru Comfy 🔎 @arucomfy.bsky.social · 14/11/2024

Remember to create an alt account and grab your original handle too just in-case. Changing your handle will mean the base bsky handle you used will go free for anyone to grab again.
