I've done Japan twice so its easy mode now and I've already done every expensive thing. JoCo will be my spouses 50th. We have a group of 9 going so it will be fun. I have a mini goal to get a signed photo of Mr Peanutbutter while in my golden suit if there's a signing event.

But hey, I'm done. Hired 10/9/2006, terminated 10/9/2026. 20 yrs to the day. That's a wierd ass fact I get to hold forever I guess. I have had the full grief cycle (terribly) and I'm looking forward to a vacation. MFF, Disney, Joco cruise, maybe Japan. This may be the best time of my life.

One thing I didn't expect getting laid off is there is no announcement. They want you to just disappear. I made a few friends that I may never talk to again, so I decided on my own goodbye. Cringe maybe, but these were good friends so I wanted to show their lead business analyst was also a dog.

2 days left of work. Its a wierd week. Yesterday I went in the office for maybe the last time. Today I sent a farewell letter and got that crazy paycheck with +170 PTO hours. Tomorrow I'm doing a teams meeting in fursuit. I made a ppt good enough that you could show at my funeral.

The thing about furry airline pilots as a whole discussion (I know this is an onion). Why is a normal person good as a pilot? This person has spent their entire life wanting to be a dog that can fly. They are living their dream and they've got a con to go to next weekend, the plane will land fine.

Awhile back my roommate Vidar rigged up an Xbox camera to turn it into a 3d scanner, and we scanned my husband and I in our fursuits on a turntable and printed them. I brought them to thanksgiving to show my family... I'm not sure they understood the concept. They asked why the bear was pregnant.

New design of McDonalds in Sycamore Illinois. The building looks great, the displays were massive and crisp. The drive thru was fully automated/ai. The pickup window has extra styled overhang awning which looks very neat and doesnt function to avoid rain while picking up at all.

I am having the weirdest work weeks of my life. I am setting 1:1s with people that I may never talk to again to say goodbye. I'm trying not to cry but it's hard sometimes. I've worked with these people for so long that they certainly feel like friends. I showed my fursuit to one the other day, lol

I dont like the end of things. Yesterday I was thinking about how as much as high school sucked, I led the stage crew team and when I graduated I just cried up in the catwalks alone. I have 2 weeks left on my job. I wont get any 20th celebration or exit interview. I just wont show up anymore.

Also got the most minor surgery. Dermatology thing. Getting my leg cut and stitched was the easiest part of the week. Getting cold sweats from being in so much pain you cant move is terrifying.

This last week was just a nightmare for me. I f'd up my GLP and made myself incredibly sick. I barely ate and couldn't keep fluids down. Then I had a back pain so bad I almost went to the ER. I got a CT scan thinking I had a stone or something, but nope. It might be stenosis related, idk.
