I just read it and thanks for this. I grew up having a similar experience, not to the same extent, but an alcoholic abusive father who now no longer drinks (thankfully). Since he stopped drinking he has been a better man, easier to talk to. Abuse is never black or white.

Just chiming in to say I currently have a Epson workforce printer that was recommended by a comic artist. It is a multifunction printer and I've used it to print my large drawings. The printer and cartridges are cheaper too. Here are 2 examples I printed to paint

I'm pretty proud of the fact that I successfully was able to take this Xbox controller apart and install an LED mod to light up the buttons. I've never done this before. A friend told me I've definitely proved my gamer cred 😂. I just wanted to be able to see my buttons in the dark lol

After a hot 41C Christmas Day these storm clouds appeared and as the sun was setting a rainbow also appeared. Things might not be ok now but they can change, just like a rainbow on a hot day. Hang in there friend 🌈

Today I glazed a painting and began another colour layer for another. It's slow going but at least it's going. Bug decided to land in wet transparent glaze though, so there's something for future archaeologists to clone from lol
