One thing I’m really happy about: first time that a sculpt has that ‘Zbrush look’, IYKYK 👀 The complexity and range are definitely much higher than Nomad Sculpt, but I’m surprised and quite pleased with the performance and optimisation.

A glowing sword featuring a scale-pattern hilt, with a dragon eye pommel, metallic joineries connected to a cross guard shaped into golden draconic wings. The blade itself is made of shaped charcoal, still smouldering with embers, connected to the hilt with a guard made of cooled lava. The inscription on the blade reads: ‘Soul fire, naked path’, written in Tengwar, the language of Fëanor elves, created by Tolkien.

Also accidentally voxel remeshed the separate meshes at 3000 resolution and crashed the program. Had to work on smoothing out all the joints before I was really happy with the structure. (Deviations from the original design are partly for ease of sculpting.)

Goal of this design was to work on variations in curved structures, as well as simple painting. Experimented with the Stamp tool for fur texture, happy with how that turned out. Constructed with UV Spheres + Tube tool.
