There is something about learning blender and obsessing over 2000s era games that makes me want to hyperfixate on Tak and the power of Juju. I remember referencing it when I first tried 3d art (using anim8r). His design actually influenced a fair bit of my earlier art!

I'm very inspired by 80s anime, so for sure there's a resemblance (see Shining Force 2 concept art below). He's got blue skin, red hair and a robe, so I think with the full body, he won't invite the same degree of comparison (I've added an earlier version below with green hair for an idea)

New Mug. I needed something to go with the green handle, and who doesn't love these little fellas. I also think I got my template boundaries figured out - which was driving me BONKERS (there's a verrry faded mushroom kingdom in the BG that didn't show up in the phots but its visible IRL)
