Talk about delusional projection. The U.S. military is the most bloodthirsty, armed to the teeth military in the world. America spends more than the next 7 countries combined. Next budget is supposed to be $1T but Trump wants to bump it up to $1.5T. Is the extra $500B tied to his threats to annex. 🇨🇦

Remember that he’s imposed higher oil and gas prices on GLOBAL economy AGAIN. Back when Trump mismanaged COVID forcing U.S. to shut down, while promising it would be gone by Easter, he negotiated a 2 year deal with OPEC to cut oil production by 10%. “Biden’s inflation” deal wound down in May 2022.

The high gas prices weren’t as a result of the invasion, “Biden’s” inflation and high gas prices were caused by Trump and his 2 year OPEC deal to cut oil production by 10%. As soon as the deal wound down in June 2022, oil prices and inflation started to drop. Saudi Aramco and Russia cashed out.

Left Twitter once I got tired of being told daily how much your countrymen would enjoy first raping my wife and children and then killing them. But you feel we were mean about you invading us? So it wasn’t just your government, it was a LOT of you, the people.

Trump has completely destroyed American credibility, at least for a couple of generations, if not forever. I used to consider U.S. as our closest friend and ally but that was before Trump threatened to annex us. Will never forget that after everything he’s done, 1/3 of Americans still support him.

And we Canadians have to cancel our F-35 contracts and build stronger ties with Europe. Canada should probably build a nuclear stockpile if it isn’t too late. Kept telling everyone that Trump didn’t want to increase military spending from $1T to $1.5T for Venezuela or Iran.

arthurcasey.bsky.social @arthurcasey.bsky.social · 14/10/2026
Sorry but the America of yesterday was a myth, Canada can’t trust the U.S. ever again. Should immediately cancel any further F-35 purchases, they’d be junk when/if you ever decide to annex us. Build up drone tech, and might have to consider a nuke stockpile. Next admin might be ok but in 10 yrs?

Not only white men, white men and women and Latino men. 59% of white men voted for Trump in 2024 and white women weren’t far behind in voting against their interests.

They have control over layoffs and made a commitment to not layoff any employees for 5 years. We’re tired of U.S. of excuse it’s not our fault, it’s the fault of our leader. You re-elected a convicted rapist and likely pedophile with a majority of the popular vote. 🇨🇦 sure as hell isn’t to blame.

According to Mr. Global, an expert on fossil fuels, the first 300,000 tons work out to 18 minutes worth of diesel. Extrapolate that out to 4.8M tons and you get just under 5 hours of diesel. It won’t do anything to price of diesel.

Not sure Canada is willing to sacrifice for the country which has threatened to annex us. According to Mr. Global, an expert on fossil fuels, those first 300,000 tons translates to 18 minutes worth of fuel. Extrapolating that out, the whole deal means a little under 5 hours of fuel.

arthurcasey.bsky.social @arthurcasey.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
That’s the first 300,000 tons per Mr. Global, the total should keep you going for just over an hour

Mr. Global, who’s an expert on fossil fuel, is saying the first 300,000 tons is 18 minutes worth. But hey, at least Putin gets the U.S. to lift sanctions

Check out Mr. Global … he’s saying it’s 18 minutes worth:

Not nearly 11 days of diesel. Closer to a couple of hours. The first 300,000 tons per Mr. Global:

Inflation was made much worse by the increase in the price of oil. At the height of Covid, when businesses shuttered, his oil company donors were suffering so Trump negotiated a deal to cut OPEC oil production by 10% for 2 years. Inflation peaked and only started to drop when the deal expired.

Post doesn’t mention what caused inflation in 2022? At the beginning of Covid, everyone was sent home so nobody was driving, Trump’s big oil donors were struggling. Trump negotiated 10% cut in OPEC oil production for 2 years. Inflation only started to drop when the deal expired in April/May 2022.

Belarus is landlocked, it’s going to have to go through Russia by rail and be put on boats. Definitely breaking sanctions. Meanwhile, Canada will be forced develop new markets for our potash.

It’s time for Canada to strengthen our ties with countries that don’t threaten us with annexation and economic war. MAGA somehow thought that a smaller trading partner was taking advantage of the larger trading partner, so I guess they’re going to find out that wasn’t the case.

They’ve been fighting the Houthis for a dozen years but haven’t made much progress against rebels wearing robes and flip-flops. Now they’ve seized port of Mokha, captured U.S. made weapons and Saudi Arabia wants the U.S. to intervene.

If ten of millions take to the streets in peaceful protest, Trump is not going to kill anyone. Once upon a time there was a group of Americans who were brave enough to set their country back on the right course. I’m sure their lives were more at risk than anyone would be in 2026.

And that’s not even considering that U.S. has competitive advantage in that our dairy comes from farmers, not mega corps and we’ve banned rBGH like the EU, Japan and South Korea. Which brings us to automobiles. Like alcohol, he’s right. Japan, South Korea, Germany AND the U.S. all had 0% tariffs.

Kids don’t attend protests? Regardless, Americans are allowing a fascist to ruin their country and unless you do something, you won’t have any allies left in 2 years. Your elected leader is trying to destroy 🇨🇦, we only have so much patience. You responding with semantics doesn’t help your cause.

So Trump and his cabinet (who is also attacking us) claims the reason Carney got elected is anti-American backlash. Backlash followed Trump threatening annexation of Canada using economic pressure. Now 2 years later, they’re repeating the process? How’s that working out?

He’s talking about the trade deficit. Note that it’s only $55B for goods only. He’s excluded services since the U.S. has a $28B trade surplus with Canada in 2025 for services. Trade deficit is due to oil. Canada sold $137B of crude to the U.S. and it’ll be a lot more in 2026 due to Trump’s Iran War.

It’s been bastardized of late but the U.S. has had centuries of regimes bullying and interfering in the affairs of other countries. Now of course you complain about all the immigrants fleeing from countries the U.S. destabilized and who haven’t recovered from the dictators the U.S. installed.

Are Americans unaware that Trump cut two-year deal to have OPEC reduce oil production by 10%. And oil prices drove inflation then just as they’re the main driver of inflation now. And as soon as Trump’s 2 year oil deal expired, the GLOBAL inflation started to drop.
