I spent 17 years in prison for sexual assault. I did my time. I learned to own my attitude and behavior. I am disgusted that the government, the private sector, and the media landscape has allowed Trump to become POTUS, just to avoid going to prison.

When the white man governs himself that is self-government, but when he governs himself, and also governs another man, that is more than self-government---that is despotism…Allow all the governed an equal voice in the government, and that, and only that is self-government”.

is not or is a man. If he is not a man, why in that case, he who should be a man may, as a matter of self-government, do just as he pleases with him. But if a negro is a man, is it not [to] that extent, a total destruction of self-government, to say he too shall not govern himself?

This also speaks to the need to amend into the Constitution the formal separation of corporate and state. No one man has the right to to purchase control of the legislative, executive, judicial, and political process. The debate should be about who has the right to operate as the sovereign authority

The Patriot Act needs to be both repealed and declared unconstitutional.

The history is important. He never knew his eldest uncle Joe. On the one side Bobby Jr. doesn't have the courage of his father or his uncle JFK. On the other side he watched his other uncle get a slap on the wrist for leaving the scene of an accident where somebody died. No impeachment or censure.

John McCain refused early release from captivity from the Hanoi Hilton. He was offered an early release because of his father’s status as a four-star admiral. McCain refused, citing the military Code of Conduct’s “first in, first out” principle. A principle Trump neither respects or comprehends.

On April 25, 1945, a US Army Colonel addressed the German civilians at Gardelegen with the following statement: “The German people have been told that stories of German atrocities were Allied propaganda. Here, you can see for yourself. Some will say that the Nazis were responsible for this crime.

Then to deal with the Supreme Court calls for understanding that there are 13 appellate courts. Nominees for the Supreme Court should be drawn from these respective appellate courts and the concepts of constitutional interpretation should be discussed debated and decided by the American People.

moment is who has the right to operate as the sovereign authority of the United States? The billionaire class doesn't care to concern themselves with the needs of the people or the needs of a living breathing planet. Make the corporation as person unconstitutional.

One of the few early decisions by the Supreme Court was Maybury v Madison, 1803, which outlined that it was the People that operate as the sovereign authority in all aspects of governing. One of the most necessary and critical debates of the current moment is how to deal with the contradiction

is to reestablish that it is the will of the people that is at stake if the billionaire class gets away with a 21st century Constitutional Convention under Article V. Whereas Article V is also the means by which the American People can reign in the legislative, executive, and judicial branches.

It was a mentality on the part of the Supreme Court to agree with the tenets of Dredd Scott v Sandford 1857, without actually saying so. That there were limits on who was protected by the Constitution and who was not. In my view one of the most important reasons to reign in the Supreme Court

This is another reason that "privatization of government services" and the "corporation as person" should be unconstitutional. Santa Clara County v Southern Pacific Railroad 1886, was a hedge against the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments that gave equal status to corporations with individuals.

Most of these issues on this list can be dealt with by adding two amendments to the Constitution. A formal separation of church and state. Then a formal separation of corporate and state. With the stipulation that it is unconstitutional to replace government services through privatization

The Iran/Contra Investigation will not end the kind of abuse of power that it addressed any more than the Watergate investigation did. The criminality in both affairs did not arise primarily out of ordinary venality or greed, although some of those charged were driven by both.

Today's hearing is about the current midterm elections. The suggestion that the GOP are really thinking about holding Trump and ilk to any measure of accountability for anything he has done should be discredited by the intent of the GOP in this current hearing.

I remember Watergate. I remember how that eventually played out. I remember that in an effort to preserve the damaging effect of Nixon's abuse of power the GOP allowed Nixon to resign to avoid an impeachment process that would have reached into the midterms of that year.

After taking in the first several minutes of this hearing involving Jack Smith. It is obvious that the GOP is aggressively trying to manipulate perceptions pursuant to a desperate attempt to sway voters. My fear is that their efforts to sway the midterm elections are only getting warmed up.

The billionaire class has decided that they have the right to dictate to the rest of us what should be regarded as real and what is truth. An attitude that was granted to them in 1886, by the Supreme Court of the United States in Santa Clara County v. Southern Pacific Railroad Co., 1886.
