It's remarkable how relaxing and energizing the physical act of painting miniatures can be. Not to disparage those in the hobby, but a part of me feels like I got in touch with my inner five year old (particularly when I dropped my first miniature shattering it).

I'd installed BetterDiscord for vanity and it left some vesigal py scripts liying around my ~/Library. BD /seems/ to exploit some flaw in Discord's launch process by way of the DiscordHelper process (yikes) such that if the py script doesn't load properly, it'll kill the update. 🤦‍♂️ #helloFutureMe

Y'all. LN the roo got the airbrush tuned so he can paint 28mm miniatures (or whatever scale Heroforge exports) with nigh surgical precision. I'm too scared my dumbass will clog it or scratch the barrel n needle cleaning up, so I guess I'll just use my cheap brushes and magnifying glasses. 😤

I made a friend watch "I 🩵 Huckabees" (2004) this weekend. (I took my bf-and-future-husband to see it ~22 years ago on our first date 😅) Its execution is far from perfect, but I definitely appreciate its (usually) measured and (sometimes) understated satirical approach. They can't all be EEAO.
