Smart ring titanium does look gooooood alongside my titanium watch tho. Like going bionic but half-retro analogue in Titanium Style Also probably the only ring I'm ever going to get (well, this and the replacement)

Also learned never ask the AI to explain what hypoxia damaged mitochondria look like The above picture is me on the outside. This is me on the inside, left before 13 days of anemic hypoxia, right after. This is why recovery takes so long, most of my little mitochondria need to rebuild themselves

2 months, an iron infusion and surgery, and my Hb back to normal 🥰 Still feel like crap. Recovery horrendous, tired and lethargic as my mitochondria are mulch from hypoxia. Past weeks the worst as peak rebuilding, but inching upwards now and getting out and about some more Onward! 🥰

I think it only hit me how serious it was when the hospital staff kept saying they were really concerned about me, and bewildered that I walked in smiling Didn't figure out why until I made the mistake of googling. I was

Update Ended back in hospital with 4.9 HB, apparently critical life-threatening anemia. Woot! 🙂 2 blood transfusions later and a lot of probing, back home, and excruciatingly BORED, as only back to 8.3, and have less energy than a snail stuck on a blob of glue But still alive 🤓

It struggled to find investment, sinks under corporate collapse, but produced some of the finest films of its era that far outshine anything Disney or other competitors achieved Katzenberg was right, good art is good art, DreamWorks was right How to balance that with execs is its problem

For those not in the other place, I emerged from A&E this week with iron deficiency anaemia caused by an almighty bout of menorrhagia. Most likely my own fault as forgot to take my iron supplements for ages. Energy crashed, blood pressure zero 🥺 Hilariously vampiric in skin tone and sunlight tho 😂

This afternoon's meanderings 🥳 Cecil Beaton exhibiton RAF, of course, all the best ones are 😎 Did atrociously at Cambridge, as did Stephen Fry, mark of genius He repeatedly looked fantastic in a dress for those of you that wonder how to get popular with the ladies (he pulled a lot of gals)

Was saying Season 3 had really improved But tbh episode 4 was dire It was so Boring And for an episode that involved survival in the desert, a horse and exciting scuffles with drug dealers, to make it boring must've taken some serious effort But god he is SO pretty 🤤 😍🤗

Screenwriting, the one where US monopolies insist that scripts MUST be in FinalDraft format (despite the fact you send it as... A pdf, so they have no idea what you made it on), with specific centralises formatting Until you realise 60yrs of the UK's best-selling shows use totally different formats

Writers: You go to phenomenal effort to write the perfect longline to woo a production company, lovingly handcrafted to absolute perfection Meanwhile: Disney+ for Tracker, episode summary: "Colter follows a series of clues to find the truth" 😐 "Oh look, a clue!" 🤦🏼‍♀️

I so badly wanted to see this when I saw it advertised He's GORGEOUS and nice muscles and yet so graceful and competent 🥰 But the blink and you'll miss it opening credit graphics were what I was expecting and god, so disappointing 😭 Canadian filming locations so lush tho

Okay the new season isn't as terrible as the previous ones I mean, it's still not great, unfortunately, but has upped the ante and was slightly, marginally, sort of, engaging Can't forgive this for being so disappointing but pleased with the new season, and he is SO PRETTY

Cinema trip 🍿 Extremely high quality, mature, well crafted, infinitely more grown up and better than about 90% of anything coming out of Hollywood by so wide a nautical mile it would cover the Atlantic But, cosy, cliched and I just wanted... I dunno, more Bennett not quite Bolt standard

Feeling really happy and relaxed for the first time in months after that 🥰 Now watching this, and I'm sorry, but I'm actually really enjoying it, perfect balance of cuddly, cheesy and huggable with action movie touches. Terrible but I'm enjoying it 🥰

Quasi elite broadsheets complaining the BBC no longer represents the popular views of hard working ordinary Brits because it makes Strictly and the Traitors instead of highbrow content about ancient Rome and Shakespeare is... one hell of a take.

May have changed my mind about the dress again Mebbe this one

160

Tansy Kelly Robson @artemisapphire.bsky.social · 11/11/2025

So, the problem with the BBC is it's out of touch with the common people, so should be making highbrow elitist content for elites instead of the western hemisphere's most popular shows like Traitors, watched by a majority of the UK population? Cool, cool, makes total sense 🤦🏼‍♀️

This is the best thing on TV I've seen in years whether for kids or grown ups. Decent script, two main leads very, very good actors, few cheesy emotional script moments that overdo it, but otherwise I genuinely have no idea why this didn't get the viewers, it's beautifully done
