Got some #blender rigging done on the #3dmodel avatar. I have completed the #rigging of the cyber arm. I'm only doing basic rigging: no fingers (don't have the hardware for it), no facial expressions (lower face mask and VR glasses cover any expressions).

Opened up my #Minecraft trading hall so it's not so oppressive (as a shopper; the vendors are still being oppressed by being imprisoned on top of their work blocks). Maybe I should put some windows in for them (and me).

#blender or #bforartists #rigging weirdness: the bones for my #cyberpunk #vtuber in Object and Pose mode don't match where I put them in Edit Mode. Obviously, I can't move the bones individually in Object Mode, Pose Mode deforms the mesh, and Edit Mode is clearly not doing what I want. Suggestions?

Object Mode and Pose Mode armature: arm bones are close to body, leg bones are about shoulder width apart. The arms of the mesh are spread wider than the bones; the legs of the mesh are closer together than the bones. The bones at the shoulder and above are higher than the corresponding points of the mesh.

Edit Mode armature: bones are aligned closely with the corresponding points on the mesh.

Unsurprising at all for mine. The only issue is I have a few outliers in my pronunciation (like "trousers" being pronounced closer to "true-zers" with the first "r" having a short roll). Despite never living outside the US, there is a strong Newfoundland influence.

Made a little honey+wax farm in my (hopefully) long-term #Minecraft world. It's controlled by a full-stack hopper clock. The active portion is inspired by ianxofour's bee farm design.

A Minecraft bee farm enclosed in jungle fences and driven by a dropper and dispenser. Under the dropper is a copper hopper (a datapack item) to filter the honey and wax into a chest in the fences.

I still need to make up my mind on the fonts (right now, I'm happy with the script font, but am ambivalent about the other one).

Switched render engine, now I've got light bloom; made the 'drive-in' and 'cinema' panels much larger; dimmed the chrome on the boxes. I need to do a 'now playing'-style thing on the bottom box, and I want to add a star/burst-type piece to go more thoroughly into the architectural style.

Version 1 of the Drive-In's sign is 'done'. I need to tweak some materials, maybe some sizes. The coloured chromes are interacting in unexpected ways, and the box around 'cyberspace' disappears in the darkness. I may make the 'drive-in' and 'cinema' sections taller for legibility.
