Some work from earlier this year for Momentum Magazine. A series of articles all highlighting ongoing research about improving public health. Many small illustrations spread across 7 articles.

Magazine spreads showing the articles and illustrations flowing across pages.

As a fan of strange media outing I subscribed to Quibi for a month or two when it was live and it was absolutely worth it for the spectacle of weird content that padded out the offerings on the app.

I'm gonna be in the West Loop tomorrow with @artbrister.bsky.social setting up at FROTH's Pop-Up Market. So if you want a cool cup for your coffee and a massager for your hands you should come say hi from 1-4pm!

Was just told it’s National Cancer Survivors Day. A group I’m glad myself and many others are a part of. Here’s a Tasmanian Devil drawing, who’re making progress on their own cancer fight.

Last year I got asked to make a piece for a gallery show with the theme of little things. I was fresh off completing chemo so I made a this piece featuring personal objects shorter than my tumor. What I didn’t note was the owner of the gallery mostly drew scenes with malformed pop culture characters

An illustration of various smaller objects like a matchbook, earbuds, cassette player and more with their shadows melting away from them in a stark red black and yellow color palette

Finally working on a new series of Portents! Been too long since I drew an owl. Based on the Northern Hawk Owl.

Finished this last year but can now share this label illustration I did for Bluewood Brewing’s Jam Session!

Image shows the illustration of a band made up of peanuts and a pb&j sandwich playing along psychadelic smoke and graphics. The illustration is overlaid on a mockup of a tall beer can.

My grocery store is selling “bruised beer” packs that are just various cans and bottles taped together into a makeshift weapon. Of course I bought one.

Drawing some more weird creatures. We need to adorn buildings with these again.

Illustration of 4 animal hybrid creatures bases on grotesque ornamentation.

Sketched some animals I got to see in Australia. There’s probably more bin chickens to come those guys are fun.

Illustration of different animals. A spoonbill, wallaby, echidna and ibis.

Getting back into doing some personal illustration for fun and trying out some new procreate brushes. Fish is based on a snakehead fish.

A fish swims in front of a pillar of swirling pillar of abstracted water, plants and coral.

I am one of those increasing this statistic. I wasn’t lucky to get cancer but was lucky to get symptoms to catch it early enough. Get checked! Great to hear research is progressing and thanks @scishow.bsky.social for the vid.

Glad to be in remission. Still getting a ton of scans and tests to make sure it stays gone, the process never ends.

The artist walking giving a thumbs up while an array of abstract devices are around and hook up. A beam comes out of one, revealing his skeleton where it overlaps his body.

What is the zine about? And are you taking submissions? If so, and I have anything in that wheelhouse, I'd like to contribute.

Working on a zine I had forgotten I made a little preorder page for, then never promoted. Well a couple people found it so I gotta get moving.

Two color illustration of a dilapidated house with plants all around the front porch. Eyes are peeking out of the dirt in the plants looking out.

I’ve been so off on posting on here that I never really posted this. If you see Mango Ride on shelves in Aldi (in the US anyway) I did the packaging illustration for it!

Sending out my new Pak Pak catalogs to backers also means I’ve got a bunch of item or character illustrations I’ve just been sitting on. Feels a little odd to share them out of context but also I like them. Once I get these preorders finished I’ll be making this catalog available.

Just got my Pak Pak Shop Shop zines delivered and they turned out great! I kickstarted these last year and it feels great to get these in hand. It is a catalog of ttrpg items you can put in your games from a dodgy dog kobold. Looking forward to having them at events.

Forgot to share when it went live. I Got to create this mascot character for a new auto shop cleaning product called Spill-o-matic. Fun to work on niche products like this!

Cartons of spill-o-matic showing the front and back of the packaging that feature the mascot, an anthropomorphic version of the carton itself.

The illustration of the mascot, an anthropomorphic carton walking with a confident slightly angry expression.

A carton of spill-o-matic on a garage floor next to a spill with the product spread around it.

Hello new followers! (and old followers) i’ve been quiet on here recently. Turns out going through cancer treatment takes up a lot of time and energy. However, I was lucky enough, and feeling good enough, to complete a mural this summer. Biggest one I’ve done!
