i blinked and over half a year has passed and it's #PortfolioDay again :O Hi, I'm cornflour, an unprofessional artist :D I only draw strictly as a hobby, but if you like my work i'd love to meet you!

my drawing of Kasane Teto singing under the spotlight

drawing of my OC Cassiana (Cass) to serve as reference for myself

drawing of Cass kneeling on the street while holding her hand out for a blue-glowing bird. Surrounding her on both sides are streaks of lights from car passing by

i have not been happy with how vague Cass's design was, so i tried to do a study and made some design tweaks. I liked how this turned out so i can also use this as reference in the future. im also trying to use watercolor brush more and i love the result, but man is it time consuming... #art #oc

2 drawings of my OC Cassiana with some slight redesigns. On the left she is wearing a black dress, a gray cloak and dark gray hood. On the right she is not wearing the hood or cloak, but instead have large wings on her back is is preparing to fire an arrow with her magic bow.

do you have any idea how hard you've made it for me to choose a favorite artwork? you have way too many amazing ones 😭 in the end i think i'll have to go with this giratina artwork, i really love the sense of scale in this scene, it makes giratina looks so sick

#wip, trying to learn to actually draw backgrounds D: i should learn to work on a drawing in multiple days, properly rendering background seems like a lot of work to feasibly finish in 1 sitting (at least at my current skill level 🥲)

Hi #PortfolioDay, i'm cornflour! I started practicing drawing seriously around 1 year ago. For now I don't intent to turn this hobby into work (so idek if I can even use this hashtag), but if you're interested in my art journey I look forward to meeting you!

Similar to my first OC, Carmelia also came from an idea I got from my friend, this time that friend is @tobleh.bsky.social (i hope this counts as a farmer) corntrary to my username, i don't actually know much about corn (especially farming corn) 😬

030

cornflour @art.cornflour.blue · 31/12/2024

meet Carmelia, the corn fairy The job of a corn fairy is to help the corn plant to grow beautiful corn for farmers. However, unlike her peers, for some reason the cornflower she is taking care of has never been able to turn into corn ears... #art #oc

im currently working so i tried my best to scribble something on my phone how people can draw with their phone and finger is a mystery to me

a scribble of a girl holding a fork and spoon with a whole cartoony chicken/bird dish on the table. some said the creator intended for the girl to be their oc, but she barely resembled anyone since the creator could not control where the line goes when drawing in mobile

cornflour @art.cornflour.blue · 09/12/2024

since i didnt do it last time, i wanna thank @theartoftheself.bsky.social for giving me the starting idea for this oc

a discord screenshot
me: "I wanna make an oc, do you got a theme/vibe/idea i could try to base on? it can be anything really"
friend: "uhhh, an archer?"

i finally did it, my first oc - a cupid who does not enjoy her job. i call her Cass, short for Cassiana (which apparently means hollow) #art #oc

the drawing of my first oc Cassiana. She has long black hair and is wearing a black dress, black robe, black boots and a silver necklace. She is holding a white bow, either ends of which forms the shape of a wing. She looks slightly judgemental.

"There's no world in which I'd give you away" #art #hatsunemiku #deco27

My drawing of Hatsune Miku as she appears in Deco*27's MV "Neverland". Miku has braided twintails with purple highlight and is wearing a trench coat. She is holding a purple glowstick in the same position as someone would a knife. There is glowing purple liquid coming out of the glowstick and on her face, hair and clothes. She looks horrified, probably at what she has done

Hi, I started learning to draw more seriously at the beginning of the year, here are some that I made so far! I'm not actually new to bluesky but now seems like a good time to create an art account 😅 #art #introduction
