Just a reminder that flying cars exist, they’re common and routine, and they’ve been part of ordinary American life for nearly a century. Anyone who can afford a pickup truck has the means to own and be licensed to operate a flying car.

Also also the Tesla demo doesn’t show a car flying, it shows a car falling and controlling its landing. It’s a needlessly complicated way to apply this flying-car technology to an automobile.

Going through my mom’s things, I found this stack of V-Mail letters her dad wrote home to his parents in WWII while he served in the European Theater. I’d never held a V-Mail letter before. They’re so small! About 6-1/2x5”, scanned from letter-sized paper in the field.

I started reading Batman just as they gave post-Crisis Jason a personality other than Dick Clone, then killed him, and did years of excellent Batman, Unhealthy Loner stories, but even I think Tim is the best Robin. I like him more the more independent of Bruce he is though.
