From my old cartoon archives: I originally wrote a cute, short children's limerick for this image — but later, this much darker joke came to mind for it too. 😁

Cartoon of a smiling gray whale and a shark having tea by the ocean, sharing a small floating table set with a teapot, cups, orange juice, a bowl, flowers in a vase, and a cracker the shark is eating. The whale tells the shark about a "feel good" movie where a guy relaxing on the beach gets followed by a motley crew — giving him nightmares. The shark asks the movie's name, and the whale replies, "Jaws!" A red buoy floats in the background under a sunny sky.

Any fabric designer out there? Try ProDesigner's website: a free online Tartan Designer: www.prodesigner.app. Easy to use and you can easily export the design, pattern and information to several factory friendly file formats like PDF or WIF (though SVG format was buggy for me.) Highly Recommended.

Cleaning out an old hard drive and found stuff I forgot I made. This one goes way back — my first pro art job: designing Disney products (never my favorite, especially as a non-Mickey fan). This was a kids' T-shirt design — I did concepts and inks, then passed it to a colorist.

An old SCBWI contest entry for Reading. Workflow: Individual pencil sketches, scanned, piece arranging, vector inking in ArtRage using Wacom, and then Photoshop for the flat colors and cleaning. No win, but I remember having a lot of fun putting this together.

I was "banned" on "Twitter" for posting a Trump political cartoon. Could still read, but not post or write messages, (you know, "Free Speech" and all that.) Most frustrating part was being unable to delete my account while banned. Has anyone found a way to delete a banned "Twitter" account?
