Reimagining a Feminist Future in Turbulent Times ✨ Despite the growing anti-rights, shrinking funding and civic spaces, ARROW in 2025 was committed to protect and expand regional civic spaces, fostered partnerships and alliances to advance SRHR and gender justice and advocated for SRHRJ for all.

Our call to ensure sexual justice for all🚨 Sexual justice is ensuring that everyone has the freedom to make their own choices about their body. It is about guaranteeing UHC for everyone. It is also about ensuring gender equality, about accessible and affordable health care, consent and much more!

Later, the women formed a workers union at the plantation. It provides a space for workers to negotiate for their working rights, voice complaints and push for improved working conditions. It has also influenced internal company policies on wages, working hours, and protections for women workers.

With women workers, Vania facilitated experience-sharing sessions and basic legal education to help them speak up confidently about their rights. She also initiated dialogues to build an understanding and encourage support for labor rights with the local leaders.

For the team, this exercise helped validate their ongoing activities, including building capacities of health service providers, advocating for better laws and policies around CAC, strengthening, capturing and monitoring accurate data and pushing for budgetary allocations for CAC based activities.

Partners discussed some of the key barriers that women and girls in their countries face to access comprehensive abortion care. This ranged from unawareness about laws, policies, services; untrained health service providers to unavailability of accessible services like medical abortion.
