In my current playthrough of #MarioandLuigiDreamTeam, I’m gonna track my scores for every attack in the Bros. Attack gauntlets. I started playing this mode yesterday, but I wasn’t keeping score. I chose to record all my attempts from today and I included a few tips I learned along the way

Bros. Attack Scores

3D Shell (August 6th)
Yesterday’s high score: 746
198, 348, 354, 538, 60, 202, 470, 202, 999

Pro tip: count the small crab targets leading up to the big one. There’s almost always 20 of them.

Fire Flower (August 6th)
Yesterday’s high score: 542
663, 539, 750, 575, 732, 890

Pro tips:
* I kept my right thumb on the A button and left pointer finger on the B button so I could throw a fireball as soon as I saw it.
* Whiffing shots is a valid tactic— If one bro had a fireball appear instantly, I’d have the other whiff their shot.
* The giant crabs appear around the 150, 360, and 580 marks respectively, with a fourth appearing once you get 800 points.

I was thinking about Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon earlier today. I know his house is the D-rank mansion, but I like to think he earned enough to qualify for at least a C-rank mansion. Rather than building a mansion, he kept the money in reserve so he could build a house he was comfortable living in

I genuinely love how much this game humanizes Luigi, how it shows he will go to the ends of the earth for his bro. It's as sweet as it is heartbreaking. I also love how expressive they made him, especially while he's asleep. Too bad his angry face got overlooked, he's rarely this ever pissed off

I’ll be honest, I didn’t know that either. I learned about this ages ago while browsing Mario Wiki, as it shows the box art for all regions. On a similar note, the US box art for Mario Strikers Charged doesn’t have a murderous bowser falling from the sky like it does in the European box art.
