Unfortunately a lot of people saw that in 2024 too. Seems like a lot of people can feel enough shame to not have the signs up anymore, but they still vote for the monster. Fingers crossed but trying to keep hope managed.

The 25th ALSO would require Vance and the cabinet to start the process. Congress can't just decide to invoke the 25th amendment against the wishes of the VP and cabinet.

The Senate would need just as many votes for the 25th as they do for impeachment, but the House would need more votes than they do for impeachment. Both the 25th and impeachment would remove Trump and leave Vance as the new POTUS unless Vance was also impeached.

The Senate barrier for the 25th is just as high as impeachment. Both require a 2/3 majority in the Senate. The 25th also requires a 2/3 majority in the House, while impeachment is a simple majority. If you have the numbers to remove via the 25th, you have the numbers to impeach and convict.
