This is the thing, if it were genuinely a union of equals then perhaps all the non-English citizens of the UK would be a lot happier. But it very clearly isn’t. England treats the other Home Nations as its backwater, and until it stops doing this nobody can blame the other nations for wanting out.

Yep, scary isn’t it. The studios are pushing cinema chains now to up the experience, so that audiences are still incentivised to go to a theatre when this comes. Small things like less ads and more trailers before the show, better maintenance of seating and carpet, better quality food options.

It’s so stupid. In the UK we have to keep a standard voltage running to stabilise the National Grid. It’s why we so far haven’t been able to do a 100% renewables day, because the 3% or so gas generated power is that anchor. But that’s a 97% saving!!! USA makes excuses for nothing.

I think this is a Russian strategic mistake that has exposed something Ukraine never planned for more than anything else. Russia targeted Ukrainian data centres, possibly to disrupt their drone manufacturing ability. Ukraine returned the favour and OMG, hasn’t it opened eyes across the world? 😎

And if England is unable or unwilling to do that then the best, maybe the only course of action for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland is to set their own paths and leave. I wish the 2014 referendum has gone the other way though. I'm certain we'd now be two partner nations in the EU if it had.

Personally I'd love for the UK to stay together, but if it does it must change to a partnership of siblings, instead of the current situation where the Westminster parent tells the rest of the family what they can and can't do. England's attitude has to change whatever happens.

This is precisely the sort of thinking that lead to us leaving the EU. We don't have to be the ones making decisions all the time, it's fine to be supporting others that do. The UK is not the world power it once was, and our changing PM doesn't influence that. The British people need to see it.
