Some bits of #Germany are just ridiculously stunning. Taking in Burg Eltz, near the Mosel, on the way North. Reason for my visit though is to see a novelty table piece, made by one of my great-grand forefathers. I’m the first in my family in hundreds of years who didn’t become a goldsmith. Shame.

Great show at Temperance Leamington Spa with Beaux Gris Gris & The Apocalypse - didn’t know this band before - I urge you to go and see them if you have a chance and like Louisiana style rhythm n blues. The singer is something else. Powerful.

Yesterday we ate Agretti, with lentils and grilled fish in a lemon garlic sauce. It's grown on a field in Italy, tastes a bit like spinach but with the crunch of samphire. That's the most exciting thing happened this week. #cooking #food
