Also, I was asked to paint one of our #thrudball anniversary models for Mr Carl Critchlow himself - the Thrud author!

Nice little commission of @thrudball.bsky.social's Star Player, Ang Gree, sculpted by the incredibly talented @renegademinis.bsky.social This figure is an absolute joy to paint.

Same! Although I think I may need a gandalf....

Steven BB_Spiky @armslengthstudio.bsky.social · 30/06/2025

Ooh I have that too! Need to add this to my project list 😀

Ngl I had to look up what this meant... 😀

I can see that being problematic when things clash! 😀 I'm really forgetful which helps a lot in some ways, although I have occasionally pondered the logistics of how a nurgle team would travel into the empire for a match without being slaughtered 😂

It's kind of a goofy alternative warhammer universe. My favourite rule from back in the day was if you had a werewolf and activated him next to a treeman you had to roll to confirm it wasn't cocking its leg on the unfortunate ent.

So happy to finally share this model. I really enjoyed painting it

An acceptable result, but you could've hurt him some more

Can I wish for a draw with a large number of casualties each? 😉

This year's Thrudball star player is Ang Gree, a sneaky, stabby pirate skeleton and he's part of this year's tournament goodybag! #bloodbowl #starplayer

@thrudball.bsky.social is now live! By all means give them a follow, we've got some fun stuff happening ahead of this year's 20th Anniversary Thrudball!

Morning #bloodbowl friends! Can anyone easily identify the origin of this particular vampire model? I thought he'd make an awesome Vargheist for my old metal Vamps

For solidarity, this type of thing frequently happens in our house too

Came back from 0-2 to win 3-2 in a very mad game 😀

He took Cindy and also Josef Bugman, so you pretty much predicted it. Bugman seems to be better than 2 kegs for the same cost.

League match for me. I'm playing orcs vs a slightly battered human team, that's missing some Blitzers. They'll have 150k inducements so a wizard or Helmut Wolf might make an appearance. Personally I'd get an extra body so there's a sub

We're playing the #heroquest mission where the heroes have to kill the orc warlord Ulag. I saw this model from Mr Modulork and knew it had to be done.

BTW it's our Barbarian that takes the d**head role in our games. My son plays him and gets terribly annoyed every time he whiffs those 3 dice attack rolls.

Today's work - the Heroquest Wizard. Has a bit of a Richard Branson look about him 🤔

Steven BB_Spiky @armslengthstudio.bsky.social · 12/02/2025

We've started playing #heroquest regularly, so it's time to give those heroes a bit of attention

Any fellow gamers and/or painters out there use #habitica? Started last month and I'm already seeing massive benefits to my organisation and motivation. Ticking off to-do's like a monster currently 👍
