Tarl took a vacation and will be back shortly. (A real one, not one where he is vending the entire time) Once back he will be sending put payments and contributor copies of Wild Hearts.

This is good news. That being said, Ingram raised their print prices on 4/1. They’ve raised prices several times the last few years and we’ve kept prices the same so we’re still going to have to evaluate our price structure in the future.

Doing filing on slush pile works today. The Lovecraft anthology and Femdom are a badger's tail away from all the stories being selected. Same with Isekai. Last selections will be going out this and next week.

When I was 13, I wanted to write horror novels like my then favorite author Dean Koontz. But I couldn't figure out how to write anything longer than a (very) short story. My dad wrote to Koontz, included one of my stories, and asked if he had advice for me. Koontz did, in this lovely letter.

As some have pointed out, our anthologies which are closing when full have been up for a year or two. This is mostly due to lack of story submissions in general. If you are interested in writing for one of the open anthologies, our suggestion is to do it sooner, rather than later. It helps everyone.
