![As the leaves change and the weather turns chill it’s time for the adventurers to gather once again, and there is no shortage of problems to solve as usual. Like the news that the barracks at Saltston, in Yun Eglessia, burned as it fell to House Remeni control, and so-called “foreign brigands” are to blame. The Duke Catlan Micci himself, Keymaster of the Gates, Protector of the Throne, has sent word to Armonia to prepare for a meeting: This nonsense, like all other nonsense, he’s ready to nip right in the bud. There is also a plan to go to distant Veneer, but unbeknownst to all, a serenade is prepared for the first of many movements towards a new era. Are you ready to turn the world around? And what is, the, ah, “Game for Genius Liars”?
Mages across Armonia have reported a strange dream of spheres and a voice who spoke of things they cannot recall. Many of those who've experienced these dreams have reported inexplicable insights into new or strange magics. Bizarre insight leaches into the dreams of the kingdom. Not just mages are plagued my strange dreams either, a band of artisans have made a pilgrimage to a disused workshop at Whitehall, from disparate origins, but all claiming that “they dreamt what the kiln had to be.” Meanwhile a plan was put into motion to use a feral dream eating elemental to learn information about Knight Terror. Once the dream eating elemental is recaptured, whatever it ingested could provide useful information for the struggles to come.

![The time has come again for the adventurers to gather, and as they prepare there is disturbing news. Issues with the portal network continue to worsen more and more people choose to travel the long way, resulting in an increase in banditry on the roads. There is also rumors of floating red lights seen in the dark of night, causing rampant speculation on what they could be.
More issues also plague some of the nobility in Armonia. Like the hunt for Captain Grainward that has continued through the summer as Sir Lockheard and his allies seek to stop his despicable operations. There was also the dignified closed casket funeral for the former Knight of Montgomery, Sir Thaller Halloran of Sherridan. Now entombed in the family mausoleum and the required period of mourning is done, his nephew and former squire Sir Winston Galloran of Sherridan was appointed as the new Knight of Montgomery. After a summer restoring his now personal estate he plans a grand hunting expedition to honour the fall of his predecessor.
The natural order of the world is not without its own issues either, continued reports of miniature elemental rifts that have formed randomly. Lorekeepers have advised of the potential for great danger for the untrained when encountering these rifts. As the days shrink after the summer solstice the folk of Connaught who live next to the Arcadian march called the Writhing Wood claim to be experiencing impossibly early darkness. The people's sleep and moods are under attack; neighbours blame each other for precious possessions gone missing from their homes.

![Ranger Norrix [last name redacted]
He/Him, Faun, Master Blacksmith.
The ranger Norrix once lived peacefully in the county of Fox Hill tending to the lands and helping lost travelers find their way, up until a dark vengeful spirit overtook the forests. Corrupting the flora and fauna of the land and lashing out at travelers this problem quickly escalated beyond what he could handle on his own.
Seeking help, he joined up with the late Sir William Crisp and many other adventurers to cleanse his lands and prevent the spread of this spirits corruption.
Once the Spirit was cleansed he found himself disconnected from the quiet life he once knew, having lived more in those past few weeks than he had in nearly a century.
So he stayed.
His passions renewed through leaning to craft magical blades for his allies. Using these new skills to help flirt with cute adventurers forevermore.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:eaavirqhyg277gdjqpuserjl/bafkreibbrias3wk2v3tjqposwj6ehv555odas3hx5xv4zyc3l2z4yyyv2q)
