I have heard some people mentioning Lightshot, which appears to have both a desktop app and its own hosting system, but unsure how long the images are hosted for like Gyazo, nor am I sure if you can browse historical ones you've taken or not.

no match is quickly becoming one of my favorite places for hair...I've had one or two of their pieces for a while now but they're always pretty fantastic hair pieces.

Just the general UI graphics backgrounds and such. I don't actually own the body so I can't see the HUD to tell, but they said the general look of it looks very much like most of the general textures were AI-generated.

Armelthelae/arm3 @armelthelae.secondlife.bio · 06/09/2026

I am hearing a few people liking the not-starfished hands and the neck fixes, but I'm also hearing some complaints about potential AI image usage in the new HUD.

You may not have been the best man, and you may have been an occasionally bigoted, old-fashioned ass, but you were still a good man and my father. Rest in peace.

Sorry, complete layperson in this regard, and the only time I think I've ever heard it mentioned it was basically describing it as "baking in your lighting so you don't have to rely on the environment being lit". Apologies.

110

Armelthelae/arm3 @armelthelae.secondlife.bio · 28/08/2026

Forgive my ignorance, but...aren't they just the slightly-more-functional equivalent of baking lighting/shadows into BP textures?

100

Armelthelae/arm3 @armelthelae.secondlife.bio · 26/08/2026

...I may be dumb and not familiar with that function, which is an actual "hover" for an object and not "avatar hover height"...which I don't see any LSL for. Looks like it MAY be doable with the @adjustheight RLV command though.

010

Armelthelae/arm3 @armelthelae.secondlife.bio · 26/08/2026

If something like wearing a shoebase with a height isn't enough, can always write a little script and stick it in a HUD that detects when you sit on something and uses wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlSetHo... to zero it out

What's worse is if you look closely, the model appears to be wearing another pair of panties UNDER the lace pair, so I guess her BOM layers didn't refresh properly.

In light of recent discussions about the marketplace, i'd like to share something! An SL user made a browser addon that adds MANY features we've been asking for, including the ability to block stores. I'll link both versions below. ⬇️ #secondlife
