FA regardless of your personal feelings, is the core of the fandom and losing it would mean YEARS AND YEARS of art, messages, pages, and memorials for people that have passed, would be gone. We CANNOT allow ourselves to rely simply on sites like bsky, twitter, insta, etc. etc. to be our defaults.

For what it’s worth, I know that creating content can be incredibly draining, doubly so when you hold yourself to the standards that you do. Even if I’m just one voice, I’ll still chime in and say your content is always a joy to watch, no matter which persona you have the camera on. Cheers to you.

Not everyone is okay with discussing the loss of a loved one. I don't want anyone to think I hold that against them. But I did want to at least post something in this public space to acknowledge what is going on. I may be quiet, or absent, or flakey for a while. I can't guarantee how long either.

I feel like I'm living in a liminal space. I keep rapidly cycling between feeling numb from being overwhelmed with everything, to breaking down. I couldn't do this by myself, I cannot thank Misty and my support system for everything they've done so far. But I am struggling to look beyond right now

After the past two months or so of hospital visits, rehab, readmission, and ICU scares, my mother who myself and Misty are caretakers for has come home on hospice. This means a focus on comfort over treatment, and a when, not an if. If I said I was okay, I'd be lying.
