#mechtober 9 For elite house commands, I offer House Kurita's Ryuken regiments. Trained by and blooded on the Wolf's Dragoons, the Ryuken is meant to replicate the warfighting capabilities of that elite mercenary command. #battletech

for #mechtober day 4, there can only be one true descendant of the SLDF's legendary Royal Blackwatch. Clan Blood Spirit continued the legacy of their ancestors in seeking to uphold the camaraderie of the Star League's true children, and when that failed, died with the stubbornness of Hanni Schmitt.

No ugly mech podt is complete without the Blood Kite. 95 tons of slow moving, zombie gun, home defense ss the Founders intended.

the Delphyne here is a bit of a later sculpt, though actually a lot of the rulebooks like techmanual have painted examples in them

A style I find a lot of modern BattleTech lacks is the fantastical sense of architecture from Doug Chaffee's stuff. Especially that one on thr cover of FM:DC, it feels like a magical city

I'm a fan of anything Nova Cat, but I have to say the Shadow Cat III looks incredible. Its just the same old Shadow Cat but without jumpjets, a ton more armor, and pulses instead of ERs, but its super sleek design makes it stand out in a crowd.

my latest #battletech wip is an Enforcer in its natural scheme: the Davion Brigade of Guards. Its a little funny that my two largest IS factions with the right minis for 3028 gameplay are DCMS and AFFS

Favorite 'Mechs gotta be the Stooping Hawk, even if the mini is about assault class sized. Bonus: favorite protomech's gotta be the Delphyne. It's basically a clan stinger and can definitely put the hurt on light mechs solo, let alone working in a point.
