hi! i will try to being a little more active again. things happened during these past ten months and i had a lot to deal with. i'm getting back onto my feet, at long last. 🫶 i'm going to set the new account this weekend and i'll follow those who are still active here!

reactivating for the time being, although i do think i'll move accounts soon to make a fresh start. my interests have changed a little again (i still love the same things but perhaps not as much and am currently back into mahoyaku hell for who knows how long)

now imagine they're just giving us a cute new year story and i'm wrong lol but it's fine i just love overthinking about akito shinonome

000

no @aristera.bsky.social · 30/12/2024

these two cards are set after rad blast, when akito has lost a bit of his passion and doesn't sing as powerfully as he used to. facing a new challenge, he has to find his new motivation. akito5 dealt with this rather well, and now the time to go to america is near.

akito5 untrained: akito is in his room, sitting with a cushion on his lap, looking tired and pensive

ny akito: akito is standing in the threshold of his room, holding what might be his passport, his expression soft but smiling

alright so i have a couple of things to say about the new shinonome akito card and how it complements his previous focus card but i'll write this when i'm on my laptop

my hot take advice for the new year is: if participating in fandom is harming your actual mental health in any way shape or form, you should step away for a bit.

rewrote the beginning of my 🥐🍭 #wip and i think i'm having too much fun with my narrator character. like yes you WERE born to hit the road that's how i created you

You’re something akin to an empty shell, a wasteland of a soul. Walking is all you must and can do, as if you were born for no other purposes than hitting a road. You must be seeking a light that has always eluded you. You might be in quest of yourself, although you’re not sure that’s what you’ll find at the end of your travel.

#LCYingduEp1 / yingdu spoilers 🦋

A three-panel illustration based on the first episode of the Yingdu Chapter. The first panel shows Cheng Xiaoshi when he died, the gold leaving his eyes. The gold flecks transform into butterflies, moving in a downward trail. The second panel is Lu Guang holding Cheng Xiaoshi’s wrist at the basketball court. The last is Cheng Xiaoshi smiling at Lu Guang from when they were walking back at the studio. The text reads, “isn’t it nice to help people find their precious thing?,” in reference to a line said by Cheng Xiaoshi.

without you, i don't know if I could take this road #linkclick

against a backdrop of falling photos, cheng xiaoshi holds up a camera, poised to take a shot; he's painted in the warm, vital red of blood dripping down his obscured face. the camera stands out against his grinning face in cold blue tones, with lu guang's desperate reflection shown in the mirrored lens.

a black and white drawing of cheng xiaoshi and lu guang diving into inky darkness: cheng xiaoshi smiles confidently up at lu guang, their hands intertwined; their forms are outlined in the cascade of white foam issuing from a blank photo, sinking to the edge of the frame.
