Art train - QRP to reintroduce yourself! 🚂🚂🚂 Ciao! I'm Ari, somewhat of an artist based in Italy. I mostly draw/paint for myself, but I'm starting what I hope will be a big trove of free fantasy art and resources. Also try to do a bit of horror sometimes. Maybe something else in the future 🤫 🖤🖤🖤

$Digital cropped portrait of a red tiefling (devil person) magician dressed in purple and translucent pearlescent white fabric. She has purple hair and light refraction on one of her cheeks.$ Digital portrait of a pink tiefling (devil person) against a blurry forest background. He is fungal druid, his horns adorned or replaced by fungal growth. He is wearing beige clothing holding a little fungal familiar on his hand.

It's my birthday 🤍! I'd love to share my favorite Eden portraits to celebrate :> Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

Illustration bust of a male oc with long white hair, sleeping with gold tears running down his face that pool into his neck and meet with gold cracks up his chest.

A wide portrait drawing with limited color of a femme male oc (Eden) lying in water, asleep, his long hair spreading out around him.
Two hands gently gather bright teal flower petals against the sides of his neck.

A dark portrait drawing of a male oc who is looking at the viewer solemnly, with long and wild white hair filling the frame around him. Gaping cracks lined with gold travel his skin, with the largest holes appearing on the side of his face and shoulder.
A black hole surrounded by gold, chrysanthemum-like flowers spouts from the hole in his face.

An experimental dark portrait of a male oc (Eden) glaring ominously at the viewer with one eye, the other hidden behind curls of white hair. Where normally there would be a red goat pupil inside of a teal iris, it has opened to reveal a smaller gold pupil.
Two warbling halos spin in tandem above his head.

i think a lot of it is also a kind of purity culture that sincerely irks me. no, you don't know what a "soul" is, and even if you knew, I can assure you'd never really recognize it

Arion @arinowhere.bsky.social · 17/12/2025

I still wanna see openAI et al lose in courts and close in tatters. They are evil for much more than some piss-colored pictures, chat GPT is straight up killing people and data centers are being built without regulation (they can be made to be clean, it would just cost more)

110

Arion @arinowhere.bsky.social · 17/12/2025

genAI, and any tech, is bad when it hurt humans, and currently it is hurting a lot of artists, but IMO the solution is fighting for universal basic income and free basic needs and not siding with capitalism to strengthen our cage

140

Arion @arinowhere.bsky.social · 17/12/2025

I had Photoshop CS5 for yeeeeeeaaars for "free", if I say downloading is stealing now I'd be a complete hypocrite

100

Arion @arinowhere.bsky.social · 17/12/2025

I've been thinking about the "steal from artists" argument and like...Downloading isn't stealing. What corporations are stealing is human value, that should've been the focus. Siding with copyright giants should've never been an option (and Disney just showed how much they care)

210

Arion @arinowhere.bsky.social · 17/12/2025

I hate genAI, but I think criticism has been poisoned by both sides helping only established big artists and corpos Some "AI" tools like depth estimation are basically complex algos with neural network help, but we can't separate them because a lot of us are ignorant about it

100

Arion @arinowhere.bsky.social · 17/12/2025

Crossposting it here This could open a discussion if there is any use that artists could do of it, but all I'm seeing is blind parroting showing a lot of us don't know the tech. Also they've never seen a photobashed concept Tech is bad because of the corporations that use it to steal human valor

Second pack up on my page, 5 free fantasy portraits. With and without bg + transparent png, 4k size And now I see that I should do a mosaic as cover of these, otherwise people don't know what it is lmao well, these are from the ones I posted online. Next ones I'll do a cover #digitalart #rpg

This week I'll drop another pack and the illusionist tiefling. After that either a full rework of healing potions + graphics, OR portrait pack focused on a fantasy culture based around some real world ones + a bit of lore I hope to do a little trove for fantasy art and lore #rpg #free #illustration

Arion @arinowhere.bsky.social · 11/12/2025

Starting out with the portraits and illustrations I've been doing, but I will expand it to items and backgrounds too (free and without watermarks), maybe a bit of lore. It will also be a honor to have y'all alongside while I get better at my craft #dungeonsanddragons #fantasy #rpg #pathfinder #free
