We then finished the day with @arielsan.bsky.social's "Ship Miner". Such a cozy, relaxing game to finish with. In a procedurally generated asteroid field, you pilot a small ship equipped with a mining laser and work your way through the various ores & metals while fighting off an unknown anomaly.

I initially thought (A) was the best but we ended up loving the idea of the pilot so (D) was selected (it captured the idea of the first one and added the pilot), and we removed the pilot face since in my mind the pilot could be anything.

Good thing is the pixelart font works better than expected and I only had to adjust some UI anchors/pivots for the texts to make it enter a bit better when switching languages. I used this font btw🙌: poppyworks.itch.io/silver

Worked on the technical side of having support for multiple languages this week, this is how it could look in 日本語. WARNING: It was temporarily autotranslated to validate UI and font so expect wrong things😅, I still need to work with the real localization team to translate it.
