The Founders didn’t build America around one religion. They knew government had no business deciding who was “American enough” based on faith. That wasn’t a footnote to the founding—it was part of the bargain. In 2026, we really shouldn’t need the reminder. Yet here we are. Share it. #Midterm2026

The Founders were more familiar with Islam than many people realize. They knew about powerful Muslim empires and states, discussed Muslims in debates over religious freedom, and lived in a society where enslaved African Muslims were present.

They shared the prejudices of their time. But some also imagined a country where rights would not depend on religion, and where Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Christians, and others could, at least in theory, have a place in ordinary public life.

President Trump once again repeated the lie that the 2020 election was stolen, claiming that China and Russia carried out the largest foreign infiltration into America’s voter registration systems to help President Biden.

Election observers consider the 2020 election one of the most secure and well-administered elections in American history.

If President Trump truly believes the 2020 election was rigged, then the legitimacy of his own 2024 victory is called into question.

Voters should pay close attention. All this noise is coming from a president who knows his party is on track to lose the midterms. Voters should see this for what it is.
