The God tube was early linear TV - Everyone jacked into a narrow feed of information. Then we tried to tower of babel it, and alas now we live among the fragmented ruins of our communication landscape, forever caught in the cycle of trying to translate meaning across subcultures and niches

Maybe covid is a better analogy for posts than we think? The initial posts/strains are optimised for intensity and hit the hardest. Over time the environment selects for genes/memes that are contagious rather than intense. Wow Richard dawkins really crushed it inventing memes

This post made me notice that bureaucracy is unhappy-coded. I wonder what a happy-coded bureaucratic practice/object would look like? Maybe like how people are happy with and frame their degrees?
