[4/4] I turn 38 next week. I feel like I’m making up for lost time. I don’t need to be singularly exceptional, I just want to do my best. #dayinthelife

[3/4] Years ago, my therapist asked me a question I still don’t know how to answer when I was telling her about the daily list. She asked, “When is it enough?” I didn’t know then, and I don’t know now.

[2/4] When I end my days, I feel a little bit crazy because there's so much that's always left on the table. Not just freelance, but the blogs I haven't written, the reading I haven't done, the language learning I shove into the final minutes of my day.

[1/4] Wrapping up my #dayinthelife. I left a freelance project on the table tonight, which I don't love—but that's the trade-off for the afternoon walk.
