I fully agree with this, it can be super fun for kinks and stuff but a lot of the time I also view it as a more mundane thing, similar to a chest binder for someone who is FTM. My intention for wearing one isnt to be horny about it all the time, i just want my dick not... there haha. For comfort!

I think that works pretty well, though I will say I think part of the appeal for me is the industrial physicality of metal. I'm more into chastity mechanisms than magic stuff cuz it feels more realistic (even if the situation is entirely fantastical haha)

Yeah unless you're like 1 inch long idk how feasible those are period 😢 What I've seen is that the really dedicated peeps get the ones with the catheter/rod that REALLY locks things in to place, but obviously (and this goes for all sounding related stuff) excessive usage can lead to medical issues

Two major camps I think: 1. Not being able to makes one more desperate and reliant on alternative methods for sexual release, which is fun! 2. A lot of people just dont like touching that part of their body! So, the cage is more a symbol than an actual barrier cuz we wouldn't touch it anyway haha

The people who are wearing cages 24/7 are the outlier, most people can barely wear them for a full day! Additionally, for cages size DOES matter, and has a huge impact on what kind you should get. There's also a difference in design philosophy between cages just for kink vs daily wear

Not a weird question at all, and it's the same thing ive been wondering!!! For half the cages ive worn they didnt work out cuz of my foreskin. Genuinely, if you are small enough and have a foreskin it's way less of an issue. I am simply not small enough 😡 After that, you just clean regularly etc

Thats partially true cuz when they're too large for me they have slipped off during the night, but thats also largely related to the fact I have an an annoyingly flexible scrotum. Good for tucking, bad for cages haha

Oh for sure, and I'm certain I still have a lot to unlearn! The hardest lesson I learned is that some cages (like the ones shaped like a maws etc) do NOT account for people with foreskin. In fact a lot of designs dont, which leads to awkward squishing and pinching that I was not prepared for

This is very helpful for me as well, I've had the ball gap issue but didnt know the words to describe it till now! I'll have to research what you mentioned. A problem I often have is that mine hang at seemingly random chaotic shifting distances which is hard to work around (hence shapeshifting lol)

I have the same problem, most of the good ones are too expensive! I've been eying the cobra series of cage [plastic] for a while cuz ive heard good things from a friend but even those are all 100$+ 😭 Metal ones are stronger and wont snap but they can be quite heavy, so its a bit of a trade off

Oh I totally hear you on not wanting to waste money! Ultimately what I did was focus on getting sets w various cage and ring sizes all included to try things out. There was also this really scary fully adjustable one with a LOT of pinch points, but it helped give me an idea of what range to go for
