An (almost) grown son and daughter. It was the same for the girl as it is now for my baby daughter. Girls. Girl groups are always the meanest. Always. It tears me apart to see her spirit broken when faced with the reality that cruelty can define a person. Shortens childhood. And it’s not fair.
