Hey I would really like my friend Corey and her sweet dog Olive to not get evicted. She could use a little extra support and help right now. She has been so kind to me and asks me about insects even though she isn’t the biggest fan of them. She does like fireflies though! gofund.me/e21e4235

I don’t know what it is but that first workout after your period ends always feels great, body is moving great and energy is up there

Ever wonder what snow in the swamp would look like? This is 5 miles into the Louisiana swamps in the Atchafalaya basin... it's unreal... having lived down there for the first 28 years of my life, we never saw anything like this. Smashed records. Curtesy of Garrett Roberts.

Next Thursday I will be hitting my friends with swords again and they will be hitting me back, actually probably more the latter than the former, but I’m so excited

The boat sucks when almost every single one of my shipmates is conservative and probably voted for Trump and are super happy about what’s going on. I can’t speak against them or try to correct their misinformation either cause being the only woman on the boat is already a trick to navigate.

The lighting does help but not a bad pump from my upper body day. Even got my arms shaking a bit which is pretty good for a boat workout

I went to snap a pic of this beef jerky on the boat that just looks like dog treats but when I opened my phone it really hit me what sign was playing And I just defeated Cerberus in Hades II

Two weeks left and then I get to be home and fight my friends with swords again

We got a new mate on the boat. Mates stand the night watch, same as me. The first night trying to flop over your sleep schedule is hard, I get it, but this man is give the loudest most exaggerated yawns and groans every couple minutes. Dude it is not that big of deal.

Jessi • Shipineer @arcticseawolf.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

Gonna take today to rest, but I don’t know how I’m gonna fill the time of first part of my night without working out. There’s like three things I can do on the boat and working out is one of them.

Jessi • Shipineer @arcticseawolf.bsky.social · 12/01/2025

I definitely ate way too much beef jerky. A wild thought but definitely what I’m feeling

Got my schedule for the year, as it is right now it looks like I’ll be able to attend my first tournament at the end of July, at that point I will have done HEMA for about a year (not excluding the six months I spend at work). So is that one year or half a year of fencing?

Here’s a short clip from my messer fight on stage last night. I’m the one on the right in the sick new gambeson. Unfortunately we didn’t get more footage but I also fought saber (even left handed at one point) and rapier and dagger v longsword.

Jessi • Shipineer @arcticseawolf.bsky.social · 05/12/2024

How we feeling about the new kit? I feel great. Can’t wait to fight. I’ll be on stage tomorrow night at a local bar for a good time.

Why is the trap such a chonk of a muscle? I was just rubbing the back of my neck/shoulder and realized what a thick band that muscle makes laying on top of everything else

Y’know you think being at work would be perfect for my sit down hobbies like writing/reading. I spend 12 hours a night not doing much of anything but being paid to be awake. But my executive dysfunction is such a bitch. Gonna try to really sit down and get something down tonight. Y’all hold me to it

We hit some rough weather earlier, like real bad. I was having to hold on the edge of my bunk and things in my room that normally don’t moving went flying. Needless to say, I didn’t really get to sleep, but now I’m having troubles napping. It’s gonna be a long watch for me tonight

Think this is the weakest trio of episodes of both seasons. Absolutely wild, and could not predict half the directions this went and it felt like they left way too much behind. Don’t get me wrong it was hype as well and I enjoyed myself but I wonder if that was because of league

Zaun probably has fight clubs right... MMA au I'm a casual watcher of MMA, particularly ONE FC that airs in the evenings every Friday as I get home. This is a play on UFC though, as it's the most popular one #arcane #piltoversfinest #caitvi #vi #caitlynkiramman

A painting of an MMA-esque poster. Caitlyn and Vi stare each other down, posed with fists raised at each other. Vi's back and arm tattoos are on display, whereas Caitlyn has a cupcake tattoo on her abdomen peeking slightly from her shorts.

At the top is the text "ZFC 516", a play on UFC numbering their fight events. At the bottom is the text "Caitlyn vs Violet", "Featherweight Championship", "Saturday Mar 18", "Live on the Chemforge". In the middle is the symbol of Zaun.

Another night (or morning?) of watch where I’m desperately tired and want to sleep. If I only get another five or six hours of sleep I’m rioting against myself. If I’m this tired I should be sleeping until 1400 and if I slept until 1400 the end of my watch wouldn’t be this hard.
