Arctic Reflections @arcticreflections.bsky.social · 20/11/2024How about you check the facts. Polaris has not had the same position for thousands of years. The star is called Alfa Ursae Minoris and when the pyramids were built it was NOT the pole star. 210

Arctic Reflections @arcticreflections.bsky.social · 20/11/2024No advanced equipment is required to measure speed two ways. For example, with the help of the moon, radio amateurs can do it. That you can easily measure two way, what is the difference to one way? Do you think one way has a lower speed than two? 050
Arctic Reflections @arcticreflections.bsky.social · 18/11/2024TFE didn't teach me about the sun in Antarctica. My colleagues who worked on Swedish icebreakers and were down there during the summer and witnessed 24 hours of sun with their own eyes. They have also filmed the phenomenon. 030
Arctic Reflections @arcticreflections.bsky.social · 18/11/2024So you choose to measure one way because you know that it is easy to measure the speed in two ways. In my work I use radar. The basis of radar is that the signal bounces and the time it takes gives the distance to the object the signal bounced from. 140
Arctic Reflections @arcticreflections.bsky.social · 17/11/2024A radio signal travels at the speed of light. So 299,792,458 m/s. It is 384,400 km to the moon. Can you work out how fast the signal from Nikon reached the moon? 140
Arctic Reflections @arcticreflections.bsky.social · 17/11/2024So according to you the majority of the earth's population are not smart. Dave, what made you change your mind about 24 hours of sun in Antarctica in the summer. How does it work on a flat earth? 110
Arctic Reflections @arcticreflections.bsky.social · 17/11/2024 The next level of stupidity! It's not flat! #flatearth www.youtube.com/watch?v=rc7J... 010
