Sometimes I go to Home Goods/Marshalls strictly for the Powerful Cat Art

Three cat paintings. Left one is of an orange cat in a copper wig, hat, and wearing heart shaped sunglasses. Middle one is of a white cat wearing curly blonde hair, flannel, a cowboy hat, and in front of a microphone. The last one is of a light orange cat with a pink mohawk, sunglasses, and some rad gold and black jewelry

For my birthday, I told @solarsoothsayer.bsky.social I wanted to take a pottery lesson, so that's what we did yesterday! Here are my pieces - a wonky cup on my first throw, and a much better-looking bowl on my second. 💜

Photo of beginners pottery. There are two cups closer to the front that look a bit wonky. And then two bowls behind them that look like a much better second try

I was able to grab him for some snuggles. He was spooked at first bc he probably thought I was going to give him meds, but instead we snuggled for about an hour 🥺💜😭

Im worried about my best boy Louis bc medical stuff. So if anyone has some happy news or something to distract me while I'm at work (which is slow so I'm more focused on Louis), it would be greatly appreciated. 😭 Cat tax

I did it!!! Zipper is a bit messed up in comparison to how I wanted it to be, but this is my first time making a bag and sewing a zipper, so it's okay 🥰

I made this to use up some of the scraps from another project, but have no idea what to make out of it, any suggestions? Originally was thinking a small bag? (Also look at my pressed seams!! First time I tried folding/pressing them out instead of to the side)

I'm SO proud of how this is coming out!!! I'm done with the most time consuming part. Now I just need to get some fabric for the backing and work on turning it into a wall hanging! (Pattern by GettingJazzyWithIt on Etsy!)

An image of a quilting block using foundation paper piecing. It is of an orca whale leaping out of the ocean with its mouth open. The ocean in several colors of blue fabric is in the bottom, and to the left is the phrase "EAT THE RICH" on a background of pink sky while there is a yacht in the background.

Okay, this is going to be a long shot, but does anyone have fabric in their stash that they'd be willing to supply me that matches the color pallet of the quilt I'm making? 🙃 I have almost all the colors I need for my quilt, but I am missing ONE purple, and I can't seem to (cont)

It's done!!!! Just need to prep the backing with this super cute fabric, and then send it off to the longarm!

A quilt top being held up by an unseen person. It has six rows of 5 kitties that are alternating in what direction they're looking in a variety of color combinations separated by white sashing. There are two borders around the entire thing. The first is a thinner dark teal, then a thicker medium purple.

A pile of folded fabric. The background is dark grey, and it is splattered with items related to cats: fish skeletons, food bowl, toy mouses.

Yesterday was very productive and I made EIGHT!!! quilt blocks!! Just 10 more to go before I can start piecing the full quilt top together 🥰

4 quilt block squares of cats loafing that are made of fabric. There are stripes in different colors. The top two cats are facing each other, and the bottom two are facing away (butts touching). The left two squares are purple and a yellow flowery fabric, and the two on the right are a blue tie dye and black blue and gold design fabric.

10 quilt squares in the shape of loafed cats. They are lined up in two rows of four, with the last two below the rows. They are all laying on a bed for display for the picture. There are a total of 5 different color combos, with each color been a main and accent color for each cat
