I'm no expert either. That isn't the only criteria, if it was then Textor's 25% voting rights wouldn't be an issue We wouldn't be "taking" Brondby's spot - we'd be swapping with Forest, and that would then cause another conflict between us and Brondby Possibly. Maybe.

Hi Matt, UEFA's rules (5.02a) seem to suggest Palace are guaranteed to get the Conference league spot at worst at the expense of Brondy Did you see this when writing the article? Not 100% I've understood it correctly, but it seems pretty clear!

What is the PL obsession with reverting to the "on field decision" when replays and multiple camera angles have demonstrated the decision is too close to call? If VAR can't prove an offside or ball out of play situation it should default to onside or in-play. Instead it goes to the lineman's guess

Yeah he can usually keep the ball pretty well! He did also fail to play anyone in for at least three really good attacks by taking too many touches. Which is the point I'm making, he doesn't seem to be enough of an attacker to start in the 10s - and won't replace Hughes/Lerma/Cheick at DM!

Franca was only on the pitch for a few minutes, but he got one real possession of the ball and instantly tried to beat his man and get into the box It wasn't successful.. but I love the attitude regardless #cpfc

I still struggle to see where Kamada fits. He was fine today - but he's not direct enough to be the second striker, not creative enough to be the playmaker, and not defensively strong enough to play as one of the two DMs. I guess he's decent to bring on if we're a couple of goals ahead? #cpfc

I don't know why you're making a big deal over this. A player is being fairly criticised for making the same bad decision twice in two minutes instead of being smarter to try and bank 3 points. It's not any deeper than that.

Yeah that was also bad. But that was bad execution, he wanted to prevent a corner and skewed it completely. That's a blunder, and a kick not a header right? Kamada had time to make a decision and gave the ball away, then a few minutes later he had even more time.. and punted it away again.

I'm not forgetting other mistakes, Lerma's passing (and crossing for sure) was generally pretty poor I thought - the difference is all of the passes were reasonable but poorly executed. Kamada's were just really stupid

I'm remembering these because it's the 93rd and 94th minute when we were 2-1 up! There's a huge difference in the game state at that point They would be poor passes at any time, but they're awful DECISIONS too when it's injury time!
