In my boredom waiting for my prostate surgery tomorrow, I was thinking about modifying an old Rumba to follow me around the house with the catheter bag. I can image that every few minutes the robot saying, “Empty the bag. Empty the bag.” 1/3

I startled awake last night. I was dreaming that I was peeing and my mind forced me awake as I would have been wetting the bed. Then reality came to life, I have a catheter and couldn't wet the bed if I tried. Maybe it was a dream of hope that all will work well again.

Good evening followers. I come here tonight to talk about happiness. Neither the left or right political leaner is happy. DT isn't happy and doesn't seem to make anyone happy. Who is happy? If you are happy, drop me a comment and tell me about it.

I just got off the phone with my urologist who suggests removing my prostrate to get rid of the cancer. The decision is do I go with radiation instead of removal. Anyone out there with suggestions on which path is best?

Next to the trophy is Welker's book, which has a cover of a hovering ovoid spacecraft above San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge. The sky is orange and full of portent.

Summer Oakes- the Witch in the West 🇨🇦 @summeroakes.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

My house is on a knoll above the meadow where the mares graze when the grass is green. For most of the past year I’ve looked out at that field and thought “I am the Witch on the hill”. The thought became a poem for my my romantasy The Morning Witch…

A poem called the Witch on the Hill says The Witch on the Hill

I felt a chill
this morning
waiting for my Knight,
and knew that I must take his place
and stand with will and might.

I am the Witch upon the hill,
I spread my arms,
I feel my will
reach out to guard
that which is ours,
and with my Love,
my spirit soars,
and takes its place on guard for him.

And so it is.

Blessed be,
Blessed we.

I heard DT say that windmills kill over 300,000 birds a year. Get rid of windmills. Well, the cats we keep as pets kill over a billion birds each year. What we need is more Haitians so there are more birds.

The big ugly bill passed. It included 129 billion related to immigration. There are 11.3 million undocumented immigrants. That is $11,416 per illegal immigrant. So republicans, get out your credit card and pay up! What do the rest of you think about this?

The big bad bill passed today by JD’s vote means we are being led by the minority. Republican Senators represent about 41% of the U.S. population, while Democratic-aligned Senators represent about 59%, despite holding fewer seats. The majority must speak, stand, jump up and change this!
