You only get british citizenship if one of your parents is British and not because you are born here. If one of your parents is British then you can be born on the moon and you would be entitled to British citizenship

I pay for lots of things I don’t use. That’s what a good society does. Things like a fire service. Most of us will never have a chip pan fire or need to be cut out of a car but if we are in that situation it’s better to call 999 than use google to arrange one!
