I heard great things about Luau too and Vers programming language is weird at first but looking pretty good. But I am still a Ruby fan. Someday I will try DragonRuby for real. All the tech demos looks so solid ngl.

I'm just happy how easy it is to make stuff look so pretty in javascript/ web tech then I go game engine and I feel like I'm constantly tinkering endlessly. Ahh I'm so lazy and tired. Let me out of this hell.

I wish I'm not such an engine dolphin. I like all of them and I can never decide which one to settle on. I just don't have a stable life right now to try em all and just tinker. Dragon Ruby looks so fun too ueh ueh

Bad quality for now. I realize how lazy I truly am and did a lot of motion tracking and computer vision reading and this is just some silly smol tests. Now I have to recreate in game engine. At this point I kinda want to... just use babylon.js and make my game there than Unity or Godot.

I did so much research in vfx lately. I am really happy to have a mini after effects and I really want to expand it and add a node system but I fear overcomplicating it at this point. It's been good to supplement gamedev at least.

I had been struggling to get some 3D effects and models going compared to Unity but that is probably a skill issue on my part…? If 6.7 really is fast I might go back to it just this project but I had been trying to make tools and learn shaders for smaller godot projects like a small paint program.

I am obsessed with cute marching line buttons and borders. If I had it my way the entire Visual Novel Maker UI would have it. Being utilitarian was hammered to me with design but... But well, now nobody can stop me! My testers and friends are great giving me feedback too. 🌻

One of my testers requested these colors and showed me some ui examples they liked. I didn't know it looked like that... I used to have them super gray and rectangle and ugly-w-what... I worked so hard on the layout too. I'm going to cry. I'll go back to the drawing board-😭

my artfight summary! my goal this year was to make 30 "polished" attacks. since i tend to draw chars standing in the void i wanted to push myself to draw more ambitious compositions. very proud of myself for somehow achieving that while being employed & unmedicated 70% of the time lmfao
