⚔️🌳🌞💀🌿New album art reveal!!! Upcoming SINDAR release "The Tower of the Sun." Completed the artwork last year & finally get to show it! I loved adding little details like the nightingale (Tinúviel!) and the sunlit moss. Drawn freehand in #Procreate. #fantasyart #tolkien #silmarillion #progmetal

Album artwork by Gabriel Danilchik: the cover of "The Tower of the Sun" from Tolkien-inspired prog metal band Sindar. Features a mossy green forest path covered in twisting roots, receding into the distance where, rising above the dark trees, the tower Minas Anor is backlit by the sun. Sunlight filters through the branches towards the viewer, upon one of which is perched a nightingale, caught in a beam of light. A clothed but mouldering human skeleton lies against the bole of a tree in the foreground, holding a sword.
