I'm gutted. She'll be remembered for her heartfelt and humble music. She'll also be remembered as one of the most genuine, caring, and generous humans of the last century. We should all aspire to be like Dolly.

Happy Caturday! Today, the Void Child is learning how to enjoy knitting without attacking on the yarn!

A black cat sits on a yellow comforter. A skein of yarn is partially under her shoulder. The hand holds the working yarn coming from the skin preventing the cat from chewing on it. The cat is partially looking away. In the foreground is a work in progress with knitting needles sticking out the top.

Turns out I'm done knitting for now

A black cat lays on a skein of blue yarn. Her claws are set into a skirted thigh such that both the working yarn and the circular needles run between her toes. On top of the thigh sits about 6 inches of cabled blue scarf.

Mostly same, except I'm just less interested in eating, generally.

It's #WIPWednesday! 🧶 If it looks like I haven't made much progress on the blanket, it's been in the 80s and 90s - a little too hot to work on a thick project. I have been making good progress on the shawl, but it's hard to tell since the outside edge I'm working has over 600 stitches.

It's Finished Object Friday! I'm a couple of weeks late on this, but here is the finished triangular shawl. It can be worn as a large, lightweight shawl, or a shorter, heavier shawl when folded in half. #FOFriday 🧶

I missed last week's #WIPWednesday 🧶. I was so busy with the local #NoKings protest & so tired from our local Pride 🏳️‍🌈, that I forgot. But I'm back this week & with a different project. 1/
